Mert Tosun

I was born in Ankara in 1994. I graduated from Computer Engineering and started my first role in 2020 at an R&D company in METU Technopolis.

I worked on a frontend project for one year, then joined Trendyol. After joining Trendyol, my focus shifted heavily toward backend systems and distributed services.

Today, I continue my software journey at Trendyol in a technical team serving the SEO domain. I enjoy building reliable systems and understanding how search and software architecture intersect.

Outside of software, I am interested in art, music and nature. I also miss the camping trips I used to do more often. On this blog, I write to express myself across technical and non-technical topics.
